The Product Description tool writes from the information you supply. Its job is to make that information sell, not to fill gaps with plausible-sounding claims. ## What to give it At minimum: the product name, what it is and who it is for. The stronger the inputs, the better the output: - Materials, dimensions, sizes and colours - Key features and the benefit each one gives the buyer - Care, compatibility and warranty details - Anything that must be said, such as safety warnings ## Missing information is flagged If a field you would expect to see in a finished description is blank, the result flags it rather than writing around it or inventing a number. Treat a flag as a to-do, not a defect: a description with a flagged gap is honest, while a confident guess about a warranty is a problem you would inherit. ## Marketplace titles and limits Each channel has its own title length. The listing tools use the platform's published limit: eBay 80 characters, Amazon 75, Etsy 140, Walmart 150, Shopify 255, Allegro 75, bol.com 70, Cdiscount 132 and Zalando 101. Amazon's 75-character limit applies to non-media products; books, DVDs and music still allow up to 200, so the limit stays editable for that run. If you override a limit, you are choosing to exceed the platform rule and should check the listing before you publish. ## Running more than one product Use the bulk option to paste rows or upload a CSV. Each row becomes its own description, and a batch can be cancelled while it is queued or running. Batch progress and results stay in **Jobs**. ## Check the result Read every description before publishing. A person is responsible for what goes on a listing; the tool is a fast first draft, not a compliance check.
